ssmatrimony.info is a live demo of the SS Matrimony WordPress matrimony plugin, run by SS Matrimony (“we”, “us”, “our”) from Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, India. The profiles on this website are sample data. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the demo or contact us, and how we use it.
1. This is a demo website
- This website shows how the SS Matrimony plugin works. It is not a real matrimony service and we do not arrange matches.
- You may register a test account to try the member features. Please use test details – do not enter your real phone number, photos, family details or other personal information.
- We do not take any payments on this website. The payment screen is only a demonstration – please do not make a real payment.
2. Information we collect
When you contact us (contact form or email)
- Your name, email address, WhatsApp number (if you give it), your website (if you give it) and your message.
When you create a test account
- The details you enter: name, email address, username, password (stored in encrypted form), mobile number, photo and profile details such as gender, date of birth, religion, education, family details and city.
- Your activity in the demo: interests, shortlist, messages, blocks, reports and when you were last active.
Automatically
- Your IP address, used only to prevent spam and misuse (for example, limiting repeated registrations).
- Cookies needed for the website to work, such as keeping you logged in, and a small cookie that counts profile views (it expires after 12 hours).
3. How we use your information
- To reply to your message and discuss the plugin, a live walkthrough, installation or custom work.
- To let you try the demo, including the emails the plugin sends (for example, email verification or approval).
- To keep the website safe from spam and misuse.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Who can see your information
- Contact messages are seen only by us.
- Test accounts work like real members of the demo: other demo users can see the profile details you enter (never your email address or phone number). Visitors see only limited details and blurred photos.
- We may see all demo data when managing the website.
5. Third-party services
This website loads some services from other companies, such as Google Fonts and a translation tool. They may receive your IP address and are covered by their own privacy policies. We do not use any analytics or advertising tools at the moment.
6. How long we keep your information
- Test accounts may be deleted at any time without notice, as we regularly reset the demo. You can also delete your account yourself from My Dashboard → Account → Delete account.
- Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to answer you and continue our conversation.
- Copies of emails sent by the website are kept for 60 days and then deleted automatically.
7. Your choices
- Delete your test account anytime from My Dashboard → Account.
- Ask us to delete your contact message or any other information by emailing us.
- To ask what information we hold about you, contact us at the address below.
8. Security
Passwords are stored in encrypted form, the website uses a secure (HTTPS) connection, and photos are blurred for visitors. No website can be 100% secure, so please use test details only when trying the demo.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the latest version.
